General / Rental Information
The Howard Bandshell is located in Downtown St. Joseph along the St. Joseph River at the corner of Lake Boulevard and Port Street. There are lovely views of both the St. Joseph River and Lake Michigan. The setting is a beautiful open air venue that seats 500 people. 

The Bandshell hosts the Municipal Band concerts and the St Joseph Today sponsored Brown Bag and Friday Night concerts. 

The Bandshell is available to rent for $400 per day Monday - Thursday and $500 per day Friday - Saturday. We only book weddings on Saturdays.
Rates are discounted for City Residents who are using the facility for their personal events.

The Bandshell shall be rented only for wedding ceremonies. During hours when the facility is not rented or reserved for Band or other City-sponsored activities, it shall be considered part of Lake Bluff Park and may be used by the public in the same manner as any other place or structure in the park, on a non-exclusive first-come, first-served basis.

Fee Schedule
